Dalis Holliman

Dalis Holliman

Dalis D. Holliman is the newest member of Farrar, Holliman and Medley. Licensed since 2015, he was admitted to the practice of law by the Tennessee Supreme Court. He earned a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Nashville School of Law (December 2013) and a B.S. in Political Science from Tennessee Technological University (2010). He was educated in the public schools of Smith and Macon County, graduating in 2006. He continues his family’s legal tradition—his parents, Guy and Debbie Holliman, are practicing attorneys, and his younger brother is in his final year of law school at the University of North Carolina. Dalis is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and practices general law with an emphasis on Social Security Disability Claims, personal injury, probate matters, criminal defense, and family law. In his spare time, he works with his family at Southern Cross Farms, a Tennessee-designated Century Family Farm.

Debbie C. Holliman

Debbie C. Holliman

Debbie Campbell Holliman was born on February 5, 1960, in Elizabethton, Tennessee, and grew up on a dairy farm along the Watauga River in Carter County, East TN, which has been in her family since the 1700s. She attended East Tennessee State University, graduating in 1981 with honors with a major in Political Science and a minor in Business, and then graduated from the University of Tennessee, George C. Taylor School of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee, receiving a Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 1984; after graduation, she relocated to the Middle Tennessee area with her husband to his family farm, E. Guy Holliman. When not practicing law, Debbie and Guy work on their 300-acre century farm, where their livestock includes Angus beef cattle, horses, burros, chickens, cats, dogs, and purebred New Zealand and commercial meat goats (for more information on the goats, see Holliman’s Southern Cross Farm on Facebook). She is a member of the 15th Judicial District United Bar Association and the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, and her practice areas include Social Security Disability, personal injury, real estate, wills, estates and probate, corporations, LLCs, and workers’ compensation.

Guy Holliman

E. Guy Holliman, a partner at Farrar Holliman and Butler, graduated from Macon County High School with honors in 1977. He earned his B.S. in Business Management with honors from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville in 1981, and received his law degree with honors from the University of Tennessee Knoxville College of Law in 1984. He has extensive trial experience in Middle Tennessee (Wilson, Davidson, Sumner, Rutherford, Robertson, Williamson, DeKalb, Jackson, Smith, Putnam, Warren, Overton, Clay, White, Trousdale, Macon, and Coffee) and in Southern Kentucky (Warren, Allen, Monroe, and Simpson). His practice focuses on trial and appellate litigation in plaintiffs’ workers’ compensation, emphasizing permanent total disability and wrongful death actions, and he specializes in representing working people against large insurance companies, national manufacturers, and other business conglomerates. He serves on the Board of Governors of the Tennessee Association for Justice and is a sustaining member. He is a past president of the Seven County Bar Association (four terms) and is a member of the 15th Judicial District Bar Association in Lebanon; he was also past president of the UT Alumni Association in Smith County. He is a board member and legal advisor for Taylor Christian Camp. Mr. Holliman was admitted to practice law in 1984 by the Tennessee Supreme Court, admitted by the U.S. Middle District Federal Court in 1985, and admitted to practice in the U.S. Federal Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1989.

Jessie Goad

Jessie Goad

Jessie Goad is a Paralegal and Office Manager at Holliman Law Firm. She joined the firm in September 1991. Jessie, a Smith County native, resides in Bagdad, Tennessee, with her husband, Mark, on Holliman’s Southern Cross Farm, a Tennessee Century Farm. She is a member of the Bagdad Church of Christ. Her interests include flower gardening, reading, writing, and spending time with her family. Prior to her employment with Holliman Law Firm, Jessie worked in the banking industry, gaining experience in areas including loan processing and marketing.
